How We Authenticate Every Watch
Our team knows the exact hallmarks, tolerances, and finishing details each brand uses — the things counterfeiters consistently get wrong. Every watch passes all four steps before it’s listed.
Case, crystal, bezel, crown, dial, hands, indices, and bracelet are examined in full against known brand hallmarks and finishing standards. We also check for polishing, re-dialing, or unauthorized part replacement.
We cross-reference the watch’s serial and reference numbers against manufacturer production records to confirm it’s genuine and that the case, dial, and movement all match.
Where available, we review receipts, service records, warranty cards, and original box and papers. What’s present — and what’s missing — is disclosed in every listing.
Each watch is tested against the manufacturer’s specified tolerances — typically ±2 to ±6 seconds per day. Anything outside tolerance is serviced before listing or disclosed transparently.
