Patek Philippe 7129J-001 World Time 38mm Yellow Gold Carmine Red Dial Watch
The Patek Philippe World Time 7129J-001 is the most vibrant expression of the World Time complication in Patek Philippe’s 2026 collection — a carmine red dial in 18k yellow gold that brings a bold, Mediterranean energy to one of watchmaking’s most useful and beautiful complications. The World Time display, invented by Louis Cottier and perfected by Patek Philippe, allows all 24 world time zones to be read simultaneously at a glance.
The World Time Display — All 24 Zones at Once
The World Time mechanism of the 7129J-001 uses a rotating disc of 24 city names representing the world’s time zones, aligned with a 24-hour ring that distinguishes day from night, and the central dial showing local time. To read the time in any city in the world, simply find the city name on the outer ring and read the corresponding hour on the 24-hour ring. The mechanism is set with a single pusher at 10 o’clock — advancing all time zones simultaneously by one hour with each press.
Carmine Red and Yellow Gold — Mediterranean Fire
The carmine red dial creates an immediate, visceral impression against the warm yellow gold case — a combination that references the colours of the Mediterranean, of Italian sports cars, of a confidence that needs no explanation. The Calibre 240 HU, one of the thinnest world time movements ever created, keeps the 38mm case elegantly slim. Red alligator leather strap, water resistant to 30 metres.
